He was Vice president of the New York Insurance Exchange and Assistant Vice President of the Home Insurance Company. Don has conducted numerous claims audits for insurance companies, reinsurance companies, insurance departments and state guaranty funds.
Don had supervised and acted as a fact expert for the Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of Market Conduct in a comprehensive claims and underwriting examination regarding property losses suffered as a result of Hurricane's Frances, Wilma, Jeanne and Katrina. He has also assisted the Florida Department in verifying the workers' compensation claims and premium data submitted to the NCCI.
