PRINCIPAL CONSULTANTS

Ron Greenfield, CPA, President - has over 18 years of insurance accounting and investigation experience and three years of financial accounting with a CPA firm. He is a former chairman of the NYSSCPA Insurance Companies and Agencies Accounting Committee. Ron has supervised numerous audits on behalf of primary insurance and reinsurance companies. He has served as a fact and consulting expert in several insurance and reinsurance company engagements and has worked with many national law firms. Through the years he has represented several state insurance departments in cases involving solvency issues, directors and officers litigation, abuses of contractual obligations, reinsurance recoverables and adherence to reporting provisions based on contracts and state statutes.

Eileen Moriarty, Senior Claims Consultant – is a claim professional with over 30 years experience in the insurance industry, including 15 years experience as claims manager for a major US reinsurer.  Her managerial background includes:  supervision of technical and clerical personnel, budgeting, liaison with senior management and actuaries in the forecasting of environmental reserves, etc. Her claim background includes extensive knowledge of toxic tort, pollution, and asbestos claims with a solid background in coverage issues.  She has served as an experienced expert witness on matters both in arbitration and litigation.  Eileen is also an ARIAS Certified Arbitrator.

Joseph Peiso, CPA, ARe, Senior Consultant – has over 20 years of insurance accounting and investigation experience. Joe works out of GC’S satellite office in Sarasota, Florida. He was the Chief Financial Examiner for the North Carolina Department of Insurance. In 2004, Joseph assisted the Special Deputy Receiver with three administrative supervisions of Florida domestic insurers at varying stages of completion. His responsibilities included performing financial projections, financial modeling and cash flow analysis. Joseph has also been involved in financial transactions involving paid loss and reserve analysis, mergers, acquisitions and numerous regulatory audits.

Donald Osenga, Senior Consultant – is a claim professional with over 35 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, with extensive line management and executive experience in field and home office claim operations of primary and reinsurance carriers. Don was Vice President of the New York Insurance Exchange and Assistant Vice President of the Home Insurance Company. Donald works out of GC’s satellite office in Sarasota. Don has conducted numerous claim audits for insurance companies, reinsurance companies, insurance departments and state guaranty funds.

Tracy Gates, CISA, CPA, Senior IT Consultant - Tracy’s career includes over sixteen years of experience in banking and insurance technology covering systems design and operations, information systems audit, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance.  Tracy assists clients in industry and government as they address the challenges of managing IT and regulatory risks and reporting requirements. As a CPA, Tracy possesses the trademark skepticism that tempers the promises of technology with the realities of the financial goals and constraints of his clients, and provides objective advice to help ensure that technology is a profitable, long-term investment.
